The values I learned while growing up in Wagoner, Oklahoma are why I returned after graduating law school from the University of Michigan.
I began my professional career at the Tulsa County District Attorney’s Office. As an Assistant District Attorney, I conducted every aspect of criminal prosecution. From misdemeanors to felonies and filing charges to jury trials, I learned how to try cases, negotiate high-stakes plea bargains and value a case.
After marriage, I began practicing civil litigation where I learned to defend clients who were facing the potential of losing their livelihood. And later, I developed a business practice, advising small businesses and startups as they formed their organizations and encountered the challenges of running a small business.
I’ve been fortunate to practice with and learn from some of the best lawyers in Oklahoma. I remain dedicated to the relentless pursuit of the best possible outcome for the client. Regardless of whether I’m advocating for business owners, representing clients in rural counties, or negotiating a business acquisition, I approach each case as if I were representing myself or my family.
